Huh?

First off, Trafalgar Group does not do a national poll, just states, so no, they did not have Trump winning the popular vote, they did not have anyone winning the popular vote.

Secondly, IBD had a general election day poll of Clinton Vs. Trump and they had Clinton winning by one percentage point.

Thirdly, in the last few elections, the numbers of undecideds have been around three percent, in this election, it was around 12% on election day.... pretty hard to have accurate polling with 12% undecided...

LA Times had Clinton losing all along. IBD had a poll with Clinton winning and Trump winning on the same day.

Trafalgar I don't give a fawck about, I'm talking polls with an A or A- rating.

All were wrong. Why?

I answered you and you ignored it. I'll try again. Twelve percent undecided. Would not say who they were voting for. Most ended up breaking for Trump, by about a 2 to 1 margin.

I'm saying that I don't believe it. Just more proof that Trump is the reality show watching, GED getting, Wall Mart shopping, stupid people's president.

Undecided. 01-wingedeagle

That's like some jackhole saying they root for WMU and U of M.

Good Lord, man. Obviously all 12% were not undecided. Many of them knew they were going to vote for Trump but just did not want to say so. It still explains how the polls were off. And yes, some people are undecided up until election day, this is not a new phenomena.

Why can't I root for WMU and U of M? Obviously I'm a WMU fan, and at the end of the day I do not really care whether U of M wins or not, but I work for U of M, so I have a vested interest in their success.

The major problem with the polls was that they focused on consistent voters. A lot of Trumpettes had never voted before, and probably will not again. Midterms will be very telling.

What part of this do I need to explain? I root for U of M because I have a vested interest, but at the end of the day I live and die by WMU.

I have friends way up in media at scUM, they root for MSU because they went there.

Not even a mention of scUM in their allegiances. Calling BS, because you're BS. "Vested interest" You act like it's a private enterprise and you have to back it or it'll fail. 03-lmfao

Good for them, I'm not sure what that has to do with me?

U of M athletics pays part of my salary, I root for their continued success so I can continue to rake in their dough.

Is this really that difficult to comprehend?

RE: The Official 2016 Election Night Thread
Quote:OPEC was complicit with the Obama administration in crashing the prices and hurting the Soviet Union's export margins.

Many US companies are (or will soon be) going bankrupt too.

BHO worked with OPEC to do this? Cost of doing business?

Quote:Once OPEC finally gets aligned, and they can now, it's going to go straight up.

A different perspective (from SIA) :

Four Reasons Why Oil Prices Are Heading Lower

Idle capacity:

There are more than 4,100 drilled but uncompleted (DUC) wells in the four oil-dominant U.S. regions (Bakken, Eagle Ford, Niobrara, and Permian), according to the Energy Information Administration. A DUC well is one that oil companies have spent the money to drill, but have not currently tapped. It costs very little to bring this oil to market. Given the large number of DUC wells in the U.S., a wave of supply is ready to come online if oil prices were to rise further.

In the U.S., we continue to make new, big discoveries:

With the help of technological advancements, like horizontal drilling and "fracking" (a process we've covered extensively since 2010), oil producers have driven costs down and found more oil, which has led to a domestic energy renaissance. Yes, U.S. production has declined almost 11% from its peak in April 2015, but output is still up 55% over the past five years.

Demand is struggling to keep up:

Overall, worldwide oil demand is climbing... just not as fast as supply.

Global oil supply averaged 98.3 million barrels per day (mmbpd) in the third quarter of 2016, according to the Energy Intelligence Group. Yet, demand only reached 97.3 mmbpd. In other words, there were around a million barrels per day of excess supply during the quarter.

Excess inventory:

When supply consistently exceeds demand, all that spare oil must go somewhere. And right now, we're holding record amounts of oil in inventory. We have more stored oil than we know what to do with... more than we've held over the past 30 years. We're also running out of tanks to store the stuff in. Tanker ships are now storing excess supplies. As of June, the International Energy Agency estimated 95 million barrels of oil is sloshing around in offshore tankers. That's the highest level since the Great Recession.

Sanders would have lost to Trump too. He would have lost the moderates and independents that voted for Clinton.

His "FAWCKING" fake cockney accent annoys the FAWCKING chit out of me.

It's hard to argue with that.

Sometimes people use hyperbole and exaggerate when they are angry

That wasn't hyperbole. In fact, I played it down so I didn't sound as harsh as Trump.

It's going to be delightful to bag on this president, nothing you say about him can be as bad as what he's already said about other's.

Yeah, I get that.

And I don't disagree.

And neither would the "fake cockney", I'm sure.

But that isn't what he was talking about.
