Can anyone explain why we constantly have posts about MUH Nate and MUH polls and MUH anything and everything? Is it Massachusetts University at Haverhill or something? Do they do polls and forecasting? I don't get it.

If I were to guess, it's a dig at liberals who liked to use various poll numbers and Nate Silver's analysis to reassure Hillary's lead in the race. Also brought up when ever Russia or Putin are mentioned.

But it's mostly an unoriginal and uninspired phrase repeated over and over again by the likes UTSA and EverRespect to pad their post counts and avoid contributing any meaningful dialogue to whatever topic is being discussed.... IMO

MUH as a meme started with the libertarian response to the tired of tripe of "BUT WHO WILL BUILD THE ROADS?!". Because when a libertarian starts talking about cutting government, the knee jerk from a progressive is ... "WELL WHO WILL BUILD THE ROADS?!" as though that's what government is actually spending all this money on. *roll eyes*

It's easy to extrapolate that this is the response to progressives always talking about Nate Silver as though he has already pulled the election outcome out of his arse. He has an IDEA of how things will shake out ... but any good investor will tell you there's more to wise investment than reading the prospectus.
