Likewise, wouldn't be surprised at tiny gatherings at stadiums tonight on a showery Election night.

What's the point of this subject? These are week night games that are hard for anyone to attend. All of the numbers are cooked at least a little. Even the mighty UM doesn't want to play on Fridays because it's hard for their people, many of which are Mac alums, to get there.

These attendance threads are pretty pointless, but they go on and on.

Yeah NIU's attendance sucks but a large portion for this game was due to the Cubs World Series game going on at the same time.

I'd rather know the number of eyeballs (divided by two) watching tonight?

How many recruits watching?

Those to me are the bigger, more important issues...

To a school like EMU we get access to those who want to watch CFB and not encumbered by UofM, OSU, etc. I assume WMU feels similarly.

In recruiting one would like prospective recruits from around the country to be able to watch a quality production on an ESPN channel or CBSSN.

This is part of the recruit's discernment process.

Hell, I don't care if BSU pipes in crowd noise tonight. 03-lmfao

Congrats Ohio!

BSU and NIU, that's horrible. But y'all aren't good this year so I'll y'all some slack.

I like these threads because it gives us perspective how our team is doing attendance wise compared to our MAC brethren.

And I agree the number watching the game on TV is super huge as well.
