Welcome to UCF, Jermaine Taylor. Keep up the hard work over the summer and help us get ready for new challenges in C-USA.

Just curious. Do y'all think the move to C-USA has helped your recruiting? I'm expecting y'all to be one of the top 4 in the conference...just don't let me down. :D

I think the move to CUSA definitely helped, but the two straight NCAA appearances helped more.

I agree Moloch. Just too bad that Deland's Keith Brumbaugh isn't considering UCF...just think, he could be UCF basketball's Daunte Culpepper. Maybe, instead, Jermaine Taylor will end up filling that role. Either way, I can't wait for both football and b'ball to start! CUSA just can't get here soon enough! 04-rock

Did you see on rivals that jermaine's coach said that he's the best senior in the state. I think thats an incredible compliment.

that is an awesome compliment. can't wait to see him and the 3 transfers jell with the returning players. when does the season schedule typically get released?...I'll probably put a post on the main board asking that question since we are new to CUSA. I sure hope we beef up our OOC schedule...would be nice to have some quality games under our belt prior to tackling our in-conference schedule for the first time.

From what I hear from the UAB coaches....our schedule won't be out until just before Labor Day. :bang: That's a long time away. Also, look for a very good possibility of OK St. coming to B'ham. 04-cheers

Don't worry. The OOC schedule is about to get a whole lot harder. Florida, Kentucky, and Arizona could all end up on next season's schedule. We are definitely playing Arizona in their 4-team tournament (Sam Houston State is the 3rd team.....don't know who the 4th is). UF and UK aren't definite yet, but likely.
