Richmond,Bryce and Cacok have all improved. I like the look of all of the players. They are very talented and could be up by 40 at half if they wanted to be.
Richmond was mostly playing PG from what I could tell. His explosive first step was what jumped out to me the most. He's gonna make it hard for Talley to get minutes if/when he gets back, as much as I like Jordon.

Some of my questions.
1. How did Chuck look? We could really use some rebounding, defense and interior scoring when he's on the floor this year.
2. Richmond hit at a high percentage. Does it seem like that will translate against good teams. Also, what position was he playing?
3. Which players played PG, and who looked the best pushing transition and had the most complete game in that group?
4. How did Fornes and Elmore look? Strengths and weaknesses?
5. Sounded like Bryce took over the game for a few minutes with back to back 3's. Reports said he put on some size.
Looked good against a non D1 school. Looking forward to our first real game next Monday night
1. Chuck looked pretty good today offensively. He could have done his work a bit earlier defensively but was good overall....showed confidence.
2. Richmond was surprisingly good out there. He's quick and can score and can play some D with quicks. Nice addition to the team. The style fit's his game perfectly.
3. Ingram and Richmond played PG. Both are very good offensive talents without question. Ingram is a very underrated passer of the ball and we all know he can flat out shoot. Richmond's D was a little better than I thought he would be. Neither are quite the stopper that Talley is but both are terrific offensive talents. Both are scoring PG's.
4.Fornes and Elmore are both talented but are freshmen. You can see that they will be better down the road. Both have excellent shot presentation. Fornes can score a number of ways. Both still need to keep improving defensively and will.
5. Bryce was absolutely lights out good defensively. A truly great defender and shot the ball very well. He was the player of the game.
Other thoughts...
We know what Flemmngs brings...he got game...serious game. Having both him and Bryce out there is such an advantage. I can't think of a team in the country that wouldn't like to have that duo. The transfer from ODU is a willing defender that seemingly brings experience and some toughness- he looks like he can shoot a little too. Ingram is very good we all know that but Richmond was nice too and so quick. Cacok stood out today to me. He's a man down there and is very athletic. If they don't get injured, they should have a good chance at post season again. It's way too early but they looked the part today against an outmanned Mount Olive team. They can put a solid defensive team out there in certain rotations. That was what hurt us in the 2nd half against Duke and why we fell just short last year in that NCAA tournament game.

Yep it is. I was a bit worried this year that teams could just play "Hack-a-Cacok" whenever he gets good looks down low. They might not be able to given that small sample. I imagine he's spent a good bit of the offseason working on his FT shooting.
