Trust me, I want any 6 win Sunbelt team to go bowling but at some point there's only so far a lie can stretch.

I think Georgia State is trying to show that they are really a good fit with CUSA teams like FIU and FAU.

Let me play devil's advocate. Over in C-USA, the teams that are doing well for whatever reason this year in league play include ODU (Norfolk/Tidewater metro region), UTSA, North Texas (DFW suburbs), Charlotte, and MTSU. Underdog Dynasty claims, FWIW, that CUSA' s bet that going after schools in big cities, regardless of their lack of history or success is paying off because, the writers claim, the Big city schools are drawing in better players. They say that this is why Marshall and Southern Miss, the schools from more traditional college towns with longer, more illustrious history, are struggling.
Personally, I think that's garbage. Southern Miss and Marshall are just having really bad years and the rest of the league, except WKU, LT, and MTSU, is so bad thAt SOMEONE has to win, so it's the newer programs in the bigger cities. Truth is that none of them have done well outside of conference play.

Surely a USA fan is not talking about attendance and its fudging possibilities THIS season. LOL

People give GSU crap because they play in a gigantic unfillable stadium but a lot if not all of this conference does the same stuff. If there were 21,367 people in the stands in Lafayette on Saturday then there are a lot of Louisianans who bear a striking resemblance to empty benches.

FWIW, I don't think many GSU fans care about the random insults and cries of "MARKETZ!" anymore. We're like a fourth grader who stutters. There are always going to be idiot classmates who love to hear us stammer, but by now, we've dealt with it long enough to know that it isn't worth it to feed the trolls, and we should just work on solving the problem.

If I were GA St. I'd move the band to the section on the left right behind the visitors bench at the 30 yard line.

I know. I'm fine with that. I just picked on ULL because that's the conference game I watched this week. It's just that GSU is the only school that takes all the crap for it because their stadium is so big.
