Would not have thought the difference between espn2 and espnU to be that great.

If I had the time I would look up what sports competition each of these games faced. Didn't USA vs Troy go against the NFL? Did GS vs ASU have any Wednesday night competition? I know the baseball playoffs might have conflicted with a few games.

App-GS went against Jags-Titans, as well as VT-Pitt, and Celtics-Bulls on TNT or ESPN. Either way, I thought it'd be higher.

Yeah I was very surprised by our low number too, I believe it was in the 130's last year and right around 150k in 2014.

I think it's pretty interesting that UH@TXST was watched by more people than NMSU@A&M considering how many Aggies and people who consider themselves to be Aggies there are.

GS/ASU went against the Mets/Giants NL Wild Card Playoff game that was on ESPN. As a Mets fan, that was a really hard day to concentrate on anything.

USA/UL did not have any competition the next week because no ALDS series went 5 games.

All of the Thursday Night games have gone against the NFL on CBS, and outside of Troy/USA which had little CFB competition, all the other Thursday's had P5 competition in CFB to compete against as well. USA/Troy did go against NLCS Game 5 between the Cubs and Dodgers, but that game was on FS1 so it didn't have the same market impact that a game on Fox would

RE: SB TV Ratings Thru Week 9
Not that surprising. For my cable tv package I think I had to subscribe to an expanded sports package to get it. I mean don't get me wrong I like being on the channel and being able to check out confrence mates but that could have a little to do with it as well.

SECN is not Nielsen rated. I found this out opening weekend when I tried looking up App's OT loss against the Vols.
