Someone better get that you're an Atlanta team and one with a bad bad perception. They are going to have move on from this clown and make a move that says you're taking this seriously otherwise this city will yawn. Beginning to question whether Cobb gets Atlanta or this school. The Falcons and Hawks marketing and management have proven that they get it and can get at least some fans to buy in even during a downturn. Osmosis is not a plan.

GA St. was one player away, a QB, from winning that game. He was just terrible, and they still were in the game until Ark St. got a late TD from starting the drive on the 7.
That was the ugliest football game I've watched all year, luckily only the second Ark St. game I've watched (GS being the other). I'm not sure how you guys haven't lost a couple years off your lives this year watching your team.
But thanks for covering!
Especially when you do not have to play that talent.
Obviously there are other factors other than talent involved in any game, and I confess figuring that out is above my head and I defer to those that know more than I do, but having more talent is normally a good thing.
There is a growing consensus that only reason A-State is beating anyone under Blake Anderson is they have more talent than most of the teams they have played, which is every SBC team.
They have not pulled many surprises under Anderson, and I get the impression that most people associated with their program now realize he is a work in progress, and I think they are trying to help him overcome some shortcomings.
Completely missing the point. You act like Ark St. was more talented at every position, which wasn't true by any means outside of the QB position. I actually watch games.
When I watched Blaise Taylor, who I don't consider one of A-State's fastest players, just outrun that GSU gunner on that punt return I thought of Seminole Indian.
Some of that A-State special teams success might have been out-talenting GSU special teams. stAte plays starters on special teams, not sure about GSU.
A-State probably has more talented players than GSU and it probably shows up in depth.

Ummm no....lol. KSU is in Kennesaw and can't fill a soccer stadium with 8300 seats. And you do get that the Braves are just in another tinier part of Atlanta right? :)

KSU is a new FCS team and has better attendance than you do though.... and they're actually successful so their attendance will only grow. They'd likely outnumber you whether you played in the dome or in Kennesaw.

They don't have better attendance than we did our first or even our third year though. And that's my point, that it's not because we are downtown vs the suburbs.

Neither team has an offense that can really do anything. Two of the better defenses in the SBC will likely keep the total around 38, maybe 45 tops.
Our offense is better than you give it credit for.
The only game you've played well offensively all season was last week, against the worst scoring defense in the country. Georgia State scored 41 on Texas State and then 10 on South Alabama. Who you play matters. Even with last week's blowout, you guys are still ranked in the triple digits in scoring offense. What credit am I supposed to give you for that?
I haven't seen anyone asking for your credit.

Basically because of your first game of 30k. And that was mainly because it was a new thing in town that people wanted to see. You had a winning season and by the end of it the attendance was less than half of what it was to start....i'm going to bet that next year going forward they average more than you do.

Nope, ive just seen home games of both. KSU has much better fans and GSU's attendance is mostly fluff from tickets sold. If they put out an actual average it would likely be less than 4,000 per game. You don't have to believe me, just ask them.

As i said or even our third year....
I am watching one of their 8300 seat "sellouts" as we speak on Peachtree TV. Lots of empty yellow seats.
