Oops, I forgot this one which includes the MAC East (How can anyone forget the East in MAC MBB? It is the MAC West which has been forgettable) Lol.

Here is the story on EMU in a single sentence:

Just announced today, the AP Poll has one MAC team (Ohio) getting one vote. here's hoping to more teams and more votes as the season progresses! BTW, the coaches poll has no MAC teams in it at all.

It was Elton Alexander, so, you know..

CMU picked last but with 2 first place votes, can't remember seeing that before.

From what I have read, coaches get a vote and so do local media that cover teams. My guess is CMU's coach gave them a first place vote and if they used a radio guy that works for the university or something he probably did as well.
