What spin? He didn't get a HC job - pretty much aligns with what I was saying. He isn't the person in charge are Coastal so minimizes any impact. This gives him a chance to distance himself from the rumors and perhaps even prove the rumors wrong. He will be working with a staff that has significantly raised the APR of a team from bottom of the conference to the top - would be one of the tops in the SBC too. It is clear he wanted out of CSU and when he couldn't get a HC position opted for this.
