Sadly, I think Hunt's chances of being drafted have disappeared this season. Not even sure now that he'll even make an NFL team as an I drafted free agent. Who would have even thought to say THAT 2 seasons ago?

I would say on a short week like this, it'd be wise to bring in Thompkins, who is both fresh and seemingly capable, but who's to say our O-line, or whatever's left of them, could block for him.

Yeah, Hunt isn't the same player. It's like watching Wasean Tait after the 2 yr layoff. Except Hunt hasn't sat two yrs. He's not the same runner. He has zero excelleration. He isn't breaking any tackles, he gets tripped up too easily, he slows down on contact. He can't put this team on his back and get some easy first downs. We are always in 3rd and long.

Western is into the easy part of their schedule. They are not going to lose.

Our Defense has regressed. Hunt is washed up. Swanson deserves to start and DJM needs to start getting some touches. How can our OL pass protect all day, but we can't run the football. We will have two more losses before the end of the season. Yet again we can't close the deal on a season. And again MACtion sucks. This game should have been on a Saturday.

Why ruin a perfectly good Saturday?

Jones killed us tonight. He catches that wide open TD to start the game, that's a game changer. His fumble killed the clock on us and we ran out of time at the end of the game.

Just Jones? Come on...... #68 on the o-line had 3 penalties, and when the secondary wasn't blowing assignments, Toledo's D-line was parting like the Red Sea. Don't forget Woodside throwing it on a line to an Ohio db. Jones did not lose this game by himself.

I couldn't believe Jones dropped that wide open pass in the beginning...would have easily been six if caught.

We're down 2 starters on the O-line and it's really starting to show. Dline got pushed around all night long.

I think most seasons a 9-3 or 8-4 regular season mark would be acceptable so it's nice to see the expectations for the program climb a little. Figure out a way to squeak by Akron and NIU and we still have a shot for 10-2 and a MAC title shot

I again want to thank the guys willing to take the time and keep others up to date when we can't get the game. Through the comments and emotions, I was frustrated right along with you. It seemed to me Ohio came prepared and Toledo was taking a week off after a big win last week. It seems like the problem was focus and execution. In spite of all that Toledo had a shot in the end. Toledo misses Earl Moore, and losing Hester and I believe Stepec this year will be really noticeable. Toledo needs to put anything left into big athletic DT's. I know - not easy.

Hunt didn't completely blow his knee out either and have reconstructive surgery. NFL teams will take note at his decline and say, if he can't handle the grind in the MAC, he sure as hell won't be able to in the NFL

I'd like to think that the Rockets would have performed better in front of 22,000 fans on a Saturday night than in a empty stadium on a Thursday.

Rockets had 23,089 in the Glass Bowl for last season's Tuesday night game against NIU.

I agree. Football should be played on Saturday.
