National media saying Big 12 is out of playoffs. If they only had a CCG they would still have a chance. I think they still have a shot now.
I don't get that. Even if they had a CCG, they probably still wouldn't make the playoff. The Big 12 doesn't have a top 4 team this year.

Clemson looks like they're not playing around tonight.

Apparently, neither is Florida State.

8-0, 5-0 in conference
Dabo Swinney now has 8 or more wins in seven out of his eight full seasons.
On to the Orange/Blue/Platinum/Whatever
Side note, Deondre Francois might well be the toughest man alive. There is absolutely no way that a mortal human finishes that game last night with the absolute beating he took.

We can throw in a howitzer.
No way Jose, that's your karma coming home to roost by bailing out on the GT game last minute leaving us with 2 FCS opponents.
What did that happen?
I always figured that we are cursed but I couldn't figure why.
Great run by your quarterback. Our quarterback would have pitched it.
2007-2008. Army was GT's homecoming in 2007, Army's AD cancelled the 2008 game then and handed GT a check for it.
To complete the circle Army dropped GT to play Louisiana Tech, who dropped a game in Shreveport against Clemson in the same fashion to play @ Army. Clemson ended up buying out a DII opponent for SC State and the Bulldogs came to Clemson that year giving us two FCS opponents as well.

Be merciful. Trolling was our only enjoyment back then.

...and to add to that The Round Robin format will be the quagmire in the room.
The Champ game will in essence be a rematch between the two best teams (probably a team in the top 10 vs a top 15)..... and most re-matches favor the team that lost the first time.
So I think most years the champ game will knock out the big 12 contender.
FlossY Out...
