You seen him play?

I know right...

Surely he isn't saying that because of size...Heck Rivers and Austin are listed with the same exact height and weight when they entered Memphis accept Rivers is considered to be much more athletic.

Not sure how many times folks have to point to a Dayton team that made the Dance with a 6-6 center and a 6-6 power forward.

A lesser league and a weaker non conference schedule and a top 6-7 players that are better than 80% of the overall schedule.

Have to have some breaks along the way though.

As I said Rivers was not even best player on SWCC and averaged under double digits and yes, someone who knows about this kind of thing wondered why we were recruiting him.

Well, how many people were recruiting the two 6-6 backups on Dayton who didn't get to start until the starting C and PF were injured in preseason?

How many folks were recruiting the 6-8 grad trans from Cleveland State who started on the Wichita NCAA team last year?

How many people were recruiting the Tulsa starters when they were in HS?

How many people were recruiting DJ Stephens?

Sometimes guys fall through the cracks.

All I've heard is that Tubby likes his skillset and talent.

Time will tell on the rest, but you can continue to argue it all day long if you want.

Are you a Dayton fan? You are really hung up on that deal-I found and posted the details-sounded liked a Pastner team; two suspensions, injuries(?). That's how they ended up with 6.

Actually fell in love with that story last year and used it to combat all the Pastner defenders.

Sean Miller loses his frontline and gets to the Dance with 6-6 starters who were backups, yet Opie couldn't get there with two McDonald's All Americans who were both 6-9.

And yet folks still defended him.

Stunning

You truly think Goodwin would have done much better anywhere but at a military school. Talked to him at many football games, etc and he was a wild man. Thoughts of everything but BB. And he could be related to Snoop Dog.

Deflecting what? I'm guessing you are a millennial although you will try to deny it. Saw a poll today where millennials favor Clinton over Trump by 27%. I don't like either candidate but when one group is swayed to that extent, it means they are not thinking for themselves. And millennials are uninformed, arrogant and are always right (in their own mind).

LOL. I'd guess the average age around here is probably 50+ and that the number of honest to goodness people posting here born after 1980 are probably under 10.

Surely he isn't saying that because of size...Heck Rivers and Austin are listed with the same exact height and weight when they entered Memphis accept Rivers is considered to be much more athletic.

Yea, he will be another Austin Nichols.

Who said that...All we need him to do is be able to defend the 5 which Austin was able to do...We will not be looking for him to score big numbers. So yeah his size is completely relevant.

But hey whatever makes you feel better.

If you gave ever played basketball you would know size don't mean s*** unless you have skills to go with it. As the Dayton fan has posted a trillion times, Dayon did really well with no players over 6-6.

You guys have the pack mentality to jump my posts right know but I don't care. I will post my facts and opinions just like everyone else here.

Was passing on what a knowledgeable CBB person told me. As for who is right, I tend to go with experts and not this forum. YOU compared him to Austin not me.
