Interesting read. Kind of good to get an outsider's perspective of JMU and all of the things we have going for us vs. not. Count your blessings...

Refreshing to not see one URI fan say we ran up the score. They know how much their team struggles.

Yes, they thought the game was called at the 6:37 mark. But, alas, they did finish the game unlike u know who.

Also, of note is that of the 109 yards they had in the game 53 yards were gained in the final 6:37 while URI ran out the clock to end the game. Unbelievable that we held them to a 56 yards up until that final drive. Did not realize that.

Also, that their QB had more completions to our secondary than to their receivers and that our secondary also had more receiving yards than their receivers.

Could JMU be the reason URI ends their football program? Seems like there is a movement after the game to end the program.

I'd rather it be that way than losing to a team that ends their program at the end of the season (Hofstra).

11/19 TU (1-7/0-5)..In the last game of the 2014 season an 0-11 URI beat a 4-7 TU. I know URI was humiliated..I hope they beat TU..Maybe TU will have packed it in by then if they haven't already.

Honestly, I think you score if you have the chance. URI was fortunate JMU didn't score 100+

I like the guy way far down in the conversation who accuses us of staying in FCS just so we can use our stadium and budget to run over lesser foes. I don't know a lot about Rhodey football and their athletic administration, but I can guarantee that guy hasn't exactly been privy to a lot of what's being discussed around JMU football.

I kind of want to sign up and apologize to them. Or give them a hug or something. One of the posters said that the URI boosters went mad over the proposed drop to NEC. Might want to ask them now if that still seems like a bad idea.
