As a QB, why would you spend 3 of the 4 seconds you have to look for a receiver, running backwards. Makes no sense, and we should abandon it!

Unless significant assistant coaching changes are made after the season, I'm beginning to think that Heeke pulled another boner!

I think the OL coach is definitely in trouble. Before the season, I recall thinking that this team will go as far as the Bubs take it. The run-blocking has improved noticeably. However, it's clear to me that they can't match the better DLs we have faced, in the pass-blocking department. SOME of what I'm seeing could be inexperience -- it's a pretty young group -- but there are still too many mix-ups in situations where they have to know a blitz is coming. I think this OL coach is part of the problem. As far as the scheme, if Watts retires after this season -- and I strongly suspect he will -- there will probably be some changes made anyway.

Enos & staff were 6-15 at this point in his HC career in the second season.

Bono and staff are 12-9 at this point in his HC career in the second season.

CMU should beat Miami and KSU. Ohio too since its at home. Emu will tough one on the road.

I'd say an 8-4 or 9-3 season is a vast improvement in year 2 over the previous hire that Heeke made... Enos finished year two at 3-9 and 6-18 overall.

While we won't win another MAC Championship, a winning season and a bowl game are a nice consolation prize. 04-rock

Hawks,

Not in my wildest dreams would I compare Bono to Enos! What I am saying is Bono needs to fix the offensive scheme quickly. We have no emotional leader
in the locker room. That's why we come out flat (almost every game). Defensively, we can't get pressure on a spread QB, and we have trouble with the
edge. Our personality (with exception of the OK St. game) is just like Enos, emotionless! That is not CMU football!
