I tailgate on the west lot, spot 268. Go ahead and stop by next game for some friendly conversation and tell me that again. And for the record, while the losses to wvu and WKU were tough to take, at least they were against talented teams that have had a football program for more than 6 months. The New Hampshire team we played in 2007 would have beat us today by 21. We have lost to Charlotte and Akron at home this year and were lucky to sneak by FAU. We wouldn't make the FCS playoffs, hence we certainly don't belong in FBS this year.

Personally I'm a fan of a promotion/relegation system, like European football. Marshall and Charlotte can both play in the MEAC next year against South Carolina State until they get promoted again.

Wow! I can't say that most of the Charlotte fans are surprised that some of you would still say we shouldn't be here. However, we sat by for a long time taking this crap from some of the Herd fans. Just man up and take your medicine for a week or so until we move on (We do have a bye this coming week). To the ones who know how to man up, thanks as it easily could have fallen either way, and I hope that both schools can help make CUSA grow in the future.

I'm proud that my team is in the same conference as Marshall. I'm proud that my team just beat Marshall regardless of the fact that they are in a bad year. I'm proud that people who know little or nothing about Charlotte football that I ate dinner with were impressed when I went crazy over the fact that we just beat Marshall. To the Marshall fans that have and still say we don't belong in FBS, F off. To the other Marshall fans, I loved tailgating with your fans last year and hope you turn it around.

Btw, any truth to the Charlotte Observer article I read that said about a third of Marshall players left the field without meeting Charlotte players and the crowd booed them for it?
