It means there will be an announcement in a few days or weeks that ESPN and Fox have increased their payouts to the Big 12 and that the so-called "pro rata clause" has been removed from the TV contracts.

If this is true, I wonder if some of the schools that believed they were on the short list will suffer a letdown on the field this weekend.
