I like the word 'musing' (here are some synonyms from a Google search: meditation, thinking, contemplation, deliberation, pondering, reflection, rumination, introspection, daydreaming, reverie, dreaming, preoccupation, brooding..."
So this process of thinking, deliberating, pondering produced the three questions:
1). How many wins will we end up with this season? We have discussed this a lot in another thread.
2). How many (and which) bowls does the MAC have and how will teams be selected for specific bowls. This is much more complicated than one might think. It is more like chess and making a move and having an opponent make a move. EMU haven't had to sit around musing about how the bowl selection process will shake out...
Here is the list from the MAC website which shows bowl agreements and possibles, although very unlikely (no one realistically expects WMU to play for the national championship, but it theoretically possible).

From this list of 'minor bowls' I'm not sure how many the MAC have primary agreements, secondary agreements, etc. (I'd guess maybe five primary agreements).
The corollary is HOW MANY MAC teams will be bowl eligible? As of today, seven MAC teams are 4 - 3 or better. Three teams have five wins and WMU has seven. Those four appear to be in the "driver's seat" for bids.
3). My third question has to do with injured players who could be back for a game during bowl season. E.g., Could Shaq Vann be back for a game around Christmas or is he completely unable to play, period?
