What's also nice, is that both of those teams have a loss to the MAC

We've played 5 of those already. And still have Toledo and EMU to go.

Crazy to think of a possible scenario where all Michigan FBS schools will be in bowl games except the one in the CF Playoff last season.

Yep! I hope they win the AAC now. Basically, no Houston! I'm confident Navy will lose 1, but I worry Navy will lose 2 conf games -- which would allow Houston to get to it all. But at least if Houston loses in AACC if that happens, there won't be someone with 1L who'd have a convincing argument to overtake us.

Troy should be getting more love with only 1 loss by 6 to Clemson.

They will I believe if they keep that 1 loss 3 of their 4 hardest games are still left to play. I believe they lose once maybe twice to App St, Ark St, and Georgia Southern.

This is why i hate college football. WMU will go undefeated and beat two Big Ten teams and they won't even sniff the college football playoff. College basketball is so much better as every team in the country has a chance to win a national title.

Because they don't have a Conference Championship Game. No 13th game, and being in the Sun Belt with a weak SoS outside Clemson & App-State/GA-Southern, they're just not assumed to get anywhere.

Troy could make it, though. But would need a Lot of things to line up.

1. SD-State to beat Wyoming, but to lose to them in the MWC, so 3L Wyoming wins the MW [although Troy would have a good case against a 2L Wyoming]
2. 3/4L Ohio wins the MACC upsetting WMU or Toledo [although Troy would have a good case against 2L Toledo]
3. 3L Temple wins the AAC

So, it's possible. Troy hasn't played the toughest part of the Sun Belt quite yet, and their margin of victory hasn't been so stellar so far... and without a Conf Champ game, it's going to work against you when compared to comparable teams. 2L Toledo would beat a ranked team. 2L Wyoming, too. And an extra game against a quality opponent to win their conference, where Troy couldn't.
