RE: Observations so far this year
thought i saw two blocks in the back on the TD after the fumble. first time seeing the replay. terrible, killer no-calls. check 1:45:29/30. the second one isnt as bad but prob coulda been called. 1:46:33 shows another angle.

1:53:27 coulda / shoulda been a huge TD for us, had mullens made a little better throw to the wide open WR. daayyuumm.

On that long touchdown, you could tell there was miscommunication in the secondary before the play. The corner and safety weren't on the same page and played different coverages. Looks like it should have been cover 3 to me but the corner was playing hard run support cover 2. Also, I stand by what I said about Parker. Yes he played a good game. But not on that play. Linebackers getting blocked like that is not fine. Unless you are fine with giving up long touchdowns.

so exactly what was Parker's mistake then on that play? what exactly should he have done differently when that future NFL lineman had a clear straight direct shot at Parker? Should he have turned and ran? Juked him out? taken on the block (like he was forced to do), and then throw the 330lb pound man out of his way? please tell me what Parker should have done on that play, coach.

#81 held him first then shoved him from behind....

any way you slice it, there is no questioning we got hosed on both no-calls on that play

having said that, it's expected playing sec on the road....

as I mentioned in the game thread, the 1st half was about one of fairest officiated I've ever witnessed on the road.....ze_bras had no choice but to make amends for that brainfart in the second half 03-wink

Of course, we coulda just not fumbled and maybe even scored again. That was one option we had to help out the refs in that situation.

So, you're one of those that don't think the refs caused the fumble. 01-wingedeagle
