WKU opens as a 14 1/2 pt favorite??

Exactly where I thought it would may be half a point more. We have to bring our A game to Bowling green if we expect anything closer to a win. They have a very good offense and defense is not too far behind. I am not sure if we can slow them down but we should be prepared for 2 min drills all game long if this turns out to be a shootout.

That sounds about right. This is a big test for us. There offense and the passing game in particular, are top notch. It is going to put a lot of pressure on us. There defense is pretty weak so we are going to have to move the ball on them.

They are a great passing team and they do a solid job stopping the run, but they aren't a great running team (merely pretty good) and their pass defense is pathetic.

Western Ky could be due for a bit of a letdown off playing LT and MTSU back to back, if the DL can win their matchups and we don't turn the ball over, we have a great shot though.

Obviously I want us to win, but I would be inclined to take WKU at 14.5. I would think the line would be around 18.

If we can pull off a win this weekend it would be huge. They are still one of the top teams in the conference and beating them at their place during homecoming shows that we can compete with the best

This could be a signature win if we can pull it off. Within CUSA beating WKU shows your program is competitive.

After watching the MT vs WKU game I think the only way ODU can win is if we win the turnover battle and if we make WK throw the ball. I was not impressed with their QB as he made many dumb throws that MT should have intercepted.

Well... we do lead the league in Turnover margin... by a lot.

That is strange because they are one of the best teams in the country at passing the ball. And Mike White was 29-40 for 391 yards; 2 TD and 1 INT.

Well, maybe the game against MT was not his best game then, but he made quite a few questionable decisions that could have been costly. Twice he should have been intercepted in the endzone.

You are correct and its not just MT game. He had 4 INT's to date and from the LT and MT games if defense was on point there would've been 4 more but i guess we can say that about any QB even DW threw more than couple of those and would've been INT's fortunately for us they weren't. This is why it is so important to take away his confidence early in the game with a good defensive show from get go.

But we've seen our backs make some pretty good Int's this season. I think we'll take advantage if we can get pressure.

I would advise people don't go in expecting the Mike White to play badly. The guy is putting up Taylor Heinicke type numbers despite a few dropped interceptions.

True that. Sean Carter's INT was the best to date even though that's against Charlotte he just dove to grab it.

After seeing the game is not available in Atl on ASN, any suggestions or trustworthy live steaming services you guys can recommend?

I don't wish for anybody to get hurt. But did anybody else think that UMASS was getting hurt a lot during the game? Is the ODU D just hitting very hard? If ODU is really that tough, I sorta feel bad for any Q we go against. A few good hits will get their Q to try and just get rid of it, opening it up for some picks.
