Any Mulligans location.

Nah, to be a sports bar, you have to generally have the league pass to the sport, pipe the audio over the p.a., etc.

Now, those are bars that show sports. Similar, but different.

The Bayou has two giant projection screens and pipe the sound over the whole place. Grizzlies, Cubs, Tigers, NFL.

Other than that, thought, there isn't much.

Brookhaven is a bar that shows sports, not a sports bar.

Anywhere else?

skybox, hickory tavern, tonys trophy room

Hueys is just around the corner if you decide you don't like the Skybox.

Skybox is pretty nice good food too

Oh yeah. Wow. Last time I was there they still had tube tv's over the bar. Any idea if they have gone HD?

It's been a couple of years since I've been but they had gone HD then. Not a tube TV is sight.

The Tavern as NFL Sunday Ticket (or whatever its called). They play the audio for the 230 CBS game over the loud speakers and will do it for any game you ask. Upgraded flat screens, projectors, the food, and all-you-can-smoke cigars. Easily the best place to watch a game.

How long have you owned the place? Hope business is good.

I understand what you're saying, but Mulligans DEFINITELY qualifies. They will air all eleven (or however many) NFL games that kickoff at the noon slot.

Alex's carries audio for games as well though it's obviously not large. Does have a few TVs though.

Local is sports bar-ish, in that they have tons of TV's everywhere and will usually change the channel for you on one of them if you ask.
I'm probably the oddball because I've never been blown away by their food, but we went there one night for March Madness games and had fun.

Trying to watch some baseball to go along with the Memphis game. Not sure that location really caters to the mlb crowd.

They'll have on both at the Bobcat.

Haven't been there in a long time. Does it qualify as a sports bar? I did watch a lot of away games there once upon a time.

I say no only because if you went there on a random night in July and asked them to put on the Mariners-Astros game, they'd look at you like you were a lunatic.

Actually they wouldn't.

Not a sports bar, but George Paul's Last Call is a good place to watch games.

Dudes that owned it are gay. I'm pretty sure they used the sports bar theme as a false front so they wouldn't have any trouble getting permitted and licensed.

Never heard of the Bobcat. Looked it up and it's right down the street. Thanks for the tip.
