$1.5 Mil after Dec. 7

They report his income around 2mm annually, does that include Under Armour?

Seems outrageous that the buyout would be that high, and term that long, on an extension given for recruiting purposes to a coach on thin ice.

That part is more interesting to me than the actual buyout numbers. Brilliant move by Tubs to sign it before the wheels fell off.

Good move though moving the yearly cut off date from Jan 31st to Dec 7th .

Looks like it ensured he gets the entire season. plus an extra 500-grand parting gift.... not bad, agreed upon in april tho

Yikes. Those are high numbers. Do you guys think UC will still fire him after the season?

So Dec 8th will be the day. Still can't believe that Oct 1st date. UC should have taken it off the table at that point. I guess he knew what was coming that night against USF and the rest of the way.

He's gone. No way they can keep him after this season or they'll lose way more money than 1.5 next year by keeping him compared to what a new guy could generate simply due to change.

Technically THE day could be December 7th the way the contract is worded.

2.4 million BEFORE Dec 7 2016
1.5 million BEFORE Dec 7 2017
