Lost a lot of shingles off our roof. Some damage to the pool cage and damage to landscaping. We were VERY lucky. Starting Wednesday into Thursday, forecasters thought Melbourne was going to take a direct hit. Thankfully, Matthew tracked a few miles further east and we were spared catastrophic damage on the mainland. The Barrier Island just east of us (Satellite Beach, Indian Harbor Beach, Indialantic, Melbourne Beach) of course took a much harder hit. Hoping to talk to some friends that live beachside today and get more details.

We bailed Thursday morning and drove to Mobile. 550 mile drive, closest place we could find a pet-friendly hotel. Got back home last night.

Very minimal stuff here in Boca, we were very lucky! Glad to hear you
didn't get a terrible hit. Had to replace my roof because of Hurricane Wilma, but at least insurance picked up some of the bill. Hope your friends are ok Bob.Good luck tonight against the Broncos. Big difference with Maddie at QB.

Been wondering about you & your Mrs., Bob. Wanted to call but didn't want to bother you. Glad you're safe & no real bad damage.
