I remember the motocross cut in too, but wasn't there an injury? I wasn't paying a lot of attention at the beginning and didn't realize they pulled the game away because f a glitch. Ok, yeah that's bad.

As someone has already mentioned, the main CBS network is launching a pay streaming option that will carry all CBS content plus some original stuff not available to regular CBS cable/OTA viewers. I wouldn't be surprised if the CBS-Sports stuff (both live and replay) isnt pushed to that platform in order to drive subscriptions for the new pay site.

I still haven't discovered it. Don't know if Time Warner carries it. But if it does, I can't imagine paying extra for it, since most of the content is likely to be games nobody else wants. How many choices do you need? There are generally 8 or more games on air at the same time now on Saturday afternoon.

When I had Time-Warner it was part of a $5 a month "sports tier" package.

It's a lot better than virtually all the ESPN3 announcers of non-televised games, yes.

Well then how do you plan on watching the Houston vs Navy game this week?

They do but only 3 cable companies have signed up,the biggest being COX cable.
Our cable company used to be Cox, but they sold it to Suddenlink. It appears in the agreement that we can still have Cox Sports channel, and our Internet at times still points to Cox's server.
That's good for you that you get it then David as I see your Boise Staters play New Mexico on CBS-SN Friday night:)
Cheers!

I've liked CBSSN from day one. As long as a channel is hi-def and they use a sufficient number of cameras to cover the game, which they have since they rebranded as CBSSN in 2011, that suits me fine.
The announcers never really matter much to me, heck it wouldn't bother me if we didn't have them at all. Announcers are either invisible (most of them) or annoying (e.g., Musberger). They are just about never a positive thing, LOL.

The same way I would have watched it if it had been on Fox. Not at all.

This. They have no app or streaming service. How is that possible in 2016?
CBS is not part of HULU, either. CBS has their own streaming app and they are charging monthly for it. Unlike ABC, NBC, and Fox, CBS is positioning itself like HBO, AMC, and Netflix. CBS's streaming anchor show is the new Star Trek series.
CBS Sports app does not stream CBSSN games right now. The app also does not stream the NCAA tournament.
Interestingly, I think I saw that Disney, owner of ABC, ESPN, etc.., is considering purchasing Netflix.
Well Disney bought a 1/3 stake of MLB Advanced Media, a few months back. On the surface that doesn't sound like a big deal, but MLB Advanced Media probably has one of the, if not the most advanced digital media platform on the market. They handle MLB's digital properties including MLB.TV as well as the PGA, NHL, WWE, HBO Now, etc. I'm sure they would love to purchase Netflix. On the content creator side they already have a great relationship with Netflix via Marvel.

Me and my brother have always called him Mushmouth. He always hated Iowa and loved Ohio St back in the day. I hate how he says the Ohio St "Buck iii's!!!" Annoying as hell.

Musberger is the worst. You'd think someone who graduated from an underdog school (Northwestern) wouldn't blindly slobber over every blueblood. That's his only "layer".

I remember after a football game in Lincoln Mushmouth was drinking a beer in the ESPN van and tossed the bottle (littered) on the street. A cop was behind the van. Oooops!
