Yea, that was awful. I think ESPN hit a new low, and that's saying something.

The American Network is broadcasting the game this week, ESPN is streaming it.

Whoever they had manning the cameras and in the video production building needs some training ASAP.

Indeed, and at least Gleason has the call this week, a little bit of an upgrade

Honestly, when was the last time we have had a GOOD defense? Not a serviceable defense, but one that was honestly good and the team could rely on....

When is the last time any college football team played good defense? I guess Bama maybe several years ago

OK, I will chime in too.
Yes, NIU can win if line play improves and we hold (sorry about the pun) our penalties to under 60 yards or less. Considering how poorly the O-line has played this year (D line too). I would say this game is about as evenly matched as it has been in several years.

I think for NIU to win any remaining game, the opposing coaching staff has to have a worse game than our coaching staff. Those odds are admittedly and unfortunately very low of happening.

Ball St lost by 10 to Indian.. Not that Indiana is world class, but they are better than WIU.. Ball St wins by 3-7pts

That's probably a fair prediction. The wildcard which we don't know though is will NIU throw in the towel again on the road, then a 7 pt game quickly becomes 28.

Ball State was losing 30 - 0 to Indiana. All if their points were in garbage time.

Did NIU out coach Ball State?
