What issues were put to bed with this debate?
So Lester is getting mixed reviews. How does this debate impact the ones to come?
Are the questions Lester asked and the topics he covered done with or will they be rehashed and served up again?

Will a moderator bring up "birtherism" again?
Will a moderator bring up the "emails" again?

Emails will be a thing at every debate. Hillary gave a quick, smart, take some responsibility and get out of the way answer to it last night. Trump gets argumentative and filabusters his tough questions, inviting the moderator to follow up.

Hard to not bring up Birtherism until Trump actually answers the question as to what changed his mind. I imagine it comes up in one of the final two debates.

I don't know if any issues were put to bed this debate. To be honest with you, I'm kind of surprised that certain issues really didn't come up such as Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, Trump University, etc. I have to suspect that this will get uglier in subsequent debates, I was kind of underwhelmed with both candidates in this debate. When it ended I didn't come away thinking one had made a huge impact over another, I'd be interested to see where the polls are in about 7 or 8 days and see which person, if any, get a bump.

Jobs and illegal immigration are a trillion times more important than gotcha stuff. Lots of middle of the road Americans were curious and on the fence about where Obama was born, normal people who were called racists just for being curious.

Baffled as to how this was not a racial issue? What else could it have been?

The birth certificate had been available forever. There was record of where the President was born. It was only brought up as an attempt to appeal to people who would believe that about someone who was racially different than they were. Trump then continued to champion the idea even though all credible evidence had long since made clear where the president was from.

Why were good americans curious or on the fence when all evidence showed otherwise?

Also disagree that illegal immigration is important but I'd be happy if they talked about it. It's a stupid issue to run a campaign around. More have been leaving the country than coming, economists say it has a positive effect on the economy and building a wall is 1. Expensive waste of taxpayer money 2. Nearly impossible given the physical practicalities of the border 3. Doesn't address that a majority of illegal immigrants don't actually come here illegally...they come LEGALLY and stay beyond their visas.

Birtherism was never a good issue. Why didn't Trump go after the Indonesian passport and foreign student registration in his college records?

I have a question for you if you don't mind. What is China's population breakdown by race? What is India's population breakdown by race? What are the breakdowns by religion? What is the difference in their governments?

So the reason I ask, is because those are the population leaders in this world.
America is new. We are the youngest and trying to blend race, religion and ethnicity into one nation. So when the Clinton's release video of Obama in ethnic appropriate clothing based on his parents heritage, of coarse it is racial and ethnic. It just is.

Mark, because his dad was a foreign student. Maybe she went to live there after she was pregnant, like when she and Barry moved to
Indonesia. Has not one dam thing to do with race. Obama could have been a white Kenyan or S. African. Ann Dunham got knocked up, not uncommon at the time for a women to get out of town or in this case go to her future husband's country to have the baby.

One issue that was put to bed was the fact that Clinton conformed she plans to strip people of their Constitutional rights without due process.

Bottom line is this, Trump highly vetted Obama and determined he was legal without a doubt. Period.
If another camp brought up ethnicity and race. That is on them.
