CMU had recovered a fumble but refs called it an incomplete pass even though the Virginia receiver turned around a cut upfield. At least CMU stopped them and got the ball back.

The game was 14 to 7 in the second until Ohio put in its backup QB Maxwell in for his first every game experience as a redshirt freshman.

He promptly sticks in 2 TD's in and then the defense picks up a safety to run the points up to 30.

So it's been awhile. You guys get great crowds and have the best band, you deserve better opponents to visit once in awhile.

*Note* I hate referring to Kansas as a "quality" opponent because they are the farthest thing from it, but anytime a MAC team gets a chance to beat a P5 team, I'm all for that.

Wheels fell off for CMU. Probably could have won that game had we not been on shrooms for the first half.

Congrats CMU on giving Virginia their very first win of the season (this is the same team that lost to UConn and an FCS team). Chips look really bad...and they were petitioning to get College GameDay to the CMU/WMU game

At least we know Rod Carey will be out of a job tomorrow. WIU already beating us.
