Tough break, kid is definitely still worth a scholly.

Injuries to players in their senior year have worked well for UAB in the past. Other bigger schools back off and UAB gets them. Darryl Hackney comes to mind. I think Delaney had a high school injury as well that led him to UAB.

He's top 5 is still a really bizarre list to me.

Will be interesting to see if Gueye follows through with his statement he'd commit this week. Louisville/Pitino visit could have delayed everything for him.

I've been consistent with my belief we would ultimately land Reese. Although it is still a possibility, I'm hearing UA is the favorite going into this weekend's visit.

He is visiting UA along with Herb Jones who plans on making a decision on October 6th (next Thursday).

It's okay. Gueye is closer to committing to us with some bigger schools still after him. Gueye and Bennett would be a strong front court, plus Smith still has an OV set up for UAB.

Welp i see nothing that has us as Gueye's top school. I see nothing that has us as a top choice for Bennett who hasnt visited us yet. I read where Smith will decide after his UAB visit could be between UAB, Bama, and LSU.

The biggest pieces to me are Gueye who has not committed this weekend yet. Along with Clay Hughes who hasnt visited yet i could give up a few for these two. Not worried about the frontcourt could go JuCo there as former 2015 recruit Cletrell Pope is available.

Not sure if it means anything, but some tweeted at Gueye saying "Awesome skills...even nicer person. Look forward to seeing you live with the UAB Blazers!" and Gueye, Ehsan, and Devitt favorited it.
