Personally, if I was the coach, they would be running stairs and get suspended for a game, even if they were my star.

what's sad is the way the play worked out, the player being a moron actually HELPED Cal out.

He really didn't want to score. 2 TDs in a minute is pretty unusual, but its a better chance than winning when the other team only has to take two knees. There was a game in the last 5 years where they let the other team score to get the ball back. Don't remember which game.

The rule sucks unless you are the ones that recover.

No, coaches need to teach players to slide and not enter the endzone at all when the game situation dictates.
