RE: SoMiss/TroyBoys game thread........
we had more yards than Clemson did against them and we held them to less than Clemson did. So there's that, I guess. a shame we couldn't pull off a win at home against them. just a play away. with all our mistakes, its a wonder we were even in the game. our defense played good.

Nick does look unsure of himself at times. That leads to poor decisions. I'm betting he gets better as the season progresses.
What this offense sorely needs is an athletic running QB. Nick is not that guy. We will have to do the best with what we have in transition.

have been saying it from the get go....Nick's reads have been a problem if you go back and watch film....he's forcing passes into coverage trying to prove NoFunLeague worth IMO....

I have no problem with Nick running,..however, there are too many other play calls available in situations where we need the 1st down in a yardage situation...that's a coaching issue...

I'm not taking anything away from Troy....they came to the house and won the game....

our coaching staff needs get a little more creative with this cast of characters....I'm beginning to see a freakin' waste of talent at this point...the script needs to get better and let the young men just play the dayum game.....that I can accept win or lose...

Nick's thinking too much.....and if you've ever had the yips, you guys will understand what that means....the coaching staff needs to focus on keeping him in motion in passing situations...that's where he has excelled in the past....

as always, JMO....
