But Central is by far the class of the MAC. They're a National powerhouse along with the likes of Alabama and OSU. George14 will tell you all about it.

Right because I've said that. Must suck having a team that hasn't won more than 6 games since 1989. Maybe this will be the year!

#BreakTheStreak
#BowlBound

Must suck to keep posting on said team's message board. Speaks a lot to the strange amount of free time you have to do so.

The classic "free time" insult when you do the same by responding as if it makes it any more time-wasting to post on another board. Give me a break, I post my thoughts and you roast me for no reason. Roasting anyone as an EMU fan is just silly in itself.

For no reason?

"Must suck to have a garbage team that hasn't won more than 6 games since 1989."

Classic troll. I sadly disagree with Huron Boy. Your perspective sucks and provides nothing. Just like your Wyoming pick, where you admitted you know nothing about the teams, but feel like Wyoming should win. Really deep analysis.

Seriously, go fill up some other school's message board.

and what is the nature of Porter's injury?

shoulder, pre game clip CC says its gonna take a while for him to be available, docs still evaluating, defensive player fell on Porter's shoulder, asked CC if Pennsyl was going to see action, CC response was "no".

I assume the only way Pennsyl sees action if we are up 3 TDs very late in the game. 04-jawdrop (chance of that is pretty slim) or if we are down 3 TDs very late in the game (possible).

Well he did see game time at Miss Valley and looked like he could direct the team but I sense little confidence in him from the coaching staff who recruited him. Lets hope Roback stays healthy. I know they don't want to burn a redshirt year for Isaac the frosh QB.

Of course, he saw time vs. MVSU. He was the back up QB for that game.

He would not see game action if both Roback and Porter were able to play.

Pennsyl is Roback's backup if the opportunity for a backup to play arises...

Dear Friends,
Just a small correction with spelling: It's Pensyl. Only one n.

Pencil

If Roback goes down we are in real trouble. Based on probabilities, and the amount of injuries we've had to date, my bet is Roback makes it through the season. Guarantee the coaches have drilled into him the importance of sliding, and throwing the ball away. Doubt we see much of the zone read from here on out, either.

Time to shine Brogan!

RE: Evaluating Brogan Roback
I nominate Isaac Holder as backup (seriously). Awesome pass completion to Kilby this week, and he was a very good dual threat QB in high school in FL.

http://www.emueagles.com/roster.aspx?rp_...h=football

Put him in there if needed, and go even more zone read heavy offense.

Hopefully we won't have to worry about the backup QB discussion.

Gotta disagree with that Etough. QBs should play QB. If Roback goes down then play the best back up, even if that means burning a redshirt.

Hopefully Stiebeling, Hutchinson, and Grissom form the core of a good group going forward.

Put him and take a direct snap and run or throw off of it.

RE: Evaluating Brogan Roback
This article and interview were already posted but it's worth the repeat. I believe when Roback plays to his potential, he may be a top 1-3 QB in this league. I base this on his athleticism, footwork, mobility, quick release, and arm strength - velocity on his ball. If we give Roback time to throw, I believe he'll get 300yards passing on Saturday. In football, the QB is a difference maker Because it is the most important position.

Here's to Brogan having a phenomenal game against Toledo....

Holder has some nice long term potential at WR.

If he puts up 300 yards passing this weekend without any turnovers, I'll jump on the Roback bandwagon with you.

After the Ohio road win where Roback had 350 yards, 3 TDs and no picks is the band wagon on idle?

RE: Evaluating Brogan Roback
I hope for those of you who watched the game today got to see Roback's QB prowess. Like I said earlier, I've evaluated all of our MAC QBs, and he is in the top 1-3 category. His quick footwork, pocket prescence, quick release and arm strength make him a difference maker. If he makes good decisions on the field and off it, he is the best QB in the league.

When you have the best QB in the league, you have a chance!

I don't know how to rate Brogan vs. the other MAC QBs, but the MAC West is full of very good QBs.

Terrell at WMU, Rush at CMU, Woodside at TOL, and Roback at EMU.

That is one reason why the MAC West is the home to #MACtion.

He actually ran well yesterday by the way, he'll have potentially six more starts. So we'll see, its in drive right now. We'll see how fast it accelerates or gets the brakes put back on. I would feel much better if Porter is also available-soon.
