I had to double take at the TV, when I saw the Raiders were playing on .... a f___ing baseball diamond!!! What is this, the 1980's ???????

What a blight.

It was economical though. The only place that really made it work was Busch Stadium. Otherwise, the deal sucked for every team that played in one. The playing field was often symmetrical, which meant awful views for baseball, football and for domes, basketball fans.

The A's should move to Portland. That would be a fun rivalry with Seattle.
