Considering Lot 15A is close to shutting down, parking will be at a premium.

There was a plan at one point to demolish the old steam plant at the corner of 14th St S and 6th Ave S next to the current steam plant for parking. Anyone know if that's still in the works? It wouldn't be a huge lot, but if they could put 70 or so spaces there it would help. You could even charge people to park there during Baron's games and make some money.

Don't think so.

What if I already own a Lot 15 permit? Do they cease being Lot 15 lots at that time? Just curious...I've never thought about it.

If it is in perpetuity, like stadium certificates, you're good.

Yes for "events" they will not be accessible to LOT15 permits. This is not the first time they have charged parking on Lot 15's for basketball, it's just been a long time since they have tried.

So say I'm going to hoops on the green tomorrow night or the green and gold game next week, where can I park for free or without a parking permit/pass? Is parking free after a certain time of day? [Image: 2014Campus_Parking_Map2.pdf]

Quote:N. ENFORCEMENT HOURS: Parking permits are required in all lots 24 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with the exception of student lot 15 after 5 pm

Any Lot 15 is free after 5pm.
