Week 2: Quick Takes

A Fine General- He didn't put up amazing numbers, but he played within the system, didn't turn the ball over, and lead the team to a huge win.

Running away with it- 7 North Texas players racked up 329 yards and 4 TDs on the ground Saturday night.

The Line- O-line came up big and dominated the Cookman front.

The D Line- The D-line played big against the run.

Shaky in the Secondary- The secondary only allowed 74 yards through the air, but Cookman drop several catchable passes.

Special teams:

Special Problem- Although our special teams blocked a punt, and had a big return, they also had a punt returned for a TD, and allowed a punt to be blocked.

Overall Grade: B+

On the road at Florida on Saturday. The goal for North Texas is to stay healthy.
