Lot of weight goes to wins apparently. Not to say that Southern shouldn't be ahead of App but clearly the roles would be reversed had the schedule set up for it. All in all, these are atrocious numbers.

They have Notre Dame higher than Texas and Ohio higher than TXST so wins apparently aren't everything

You lost to a good team and beat a bad one. We killed a horrible one and beat a decent one...The numbers get better as the season progresses. Your opinion is no better than the rankings based on two games. 07-coffee3

Agree, the win in Mobile was good but Savannah State doesn't even count. We'll find out what we're made of during the upcoming brutal stretch.

Savannah State had 46 total yards against USM. I feel bad that their program is required to supplement their budget with these types of games because they do nothing for the program.

Regardless, the next few weeks should be interesting for everyone in the conference and hopefully allow for some upward movement in all polls.

USM held them to 9 yards in the first half, 43 total. I don't care what team they played, you don't do that without being fundamentally sound.

I'd make a bet for GS on at least five of the teams ranked above them. I'm way more wary of App than a few on this list.

Other than the top 3, I would probably put my money on GS if I had to pick.

I'd love our team to get the opportunity to play one of those 3, hell any of those other 9 that aren't already on our schedule.

San Diego State got by Cal 45-40.

They are coming to Mobile in a few weeks.
Can't wait to have a shot at them.
