I thought this map was very interesting. It maps the percent of college football facebook posts by zipcode. (Scroll in and hover to see) Very interesting to see the sphere of influence for each of the MAC Teams . Only NIU appears to have it's own domain. However, it seems to be more of a lack of other influences rather than their own domination of influence.

Most likely they're not the masters of their domain.

Two things surprised me:

1) how totally dominant the big name teams are----I don't know why is should be a surprise but seeing it quantified like that certainly struck home the point.

2) I was surprised at how widespread the support was for the Oregon Ducks----maybe people really do like bizarre uniforms.

What stunned me is the Rockets not appearing in 87508!!!!!
I think a retabulation is in order.
