NIU opens as 14 point dogs in Vegas. Hopefully this motivates the team and coaches. Hopefully they have some fight, like we saw on the two minute drive in the 4th quarter to tie the game in Wyoming. We have too much talent to be 14 point dogs at USF. But mentally I don't know where our team is. Hope I'm wrong about this....

USF is a bad matchup for us, much like Marshall a couple years back. Stud QB, RB, WR. Probably much greater overall team speed. I think we'll play better and get beat worse this week, something like 52-21.

Lots of Florida players on our side. I think they'll play better than the Wyoming game.

I predict NIU probably starts 0-3, all of you piss and moan, then they perform well in the MACA and everyone starts gloating again.

If our guys can regroup and play the kind of football they're capable of this win will right the ship and leave the Wyoming game as an after thought. But I have no confidence that our coaching staff has the intelligence, creativity, or the balls to get the most out of our guys. You all do realize that USF gave up 20 points to 1AA Towson.
