Marshalls interm president was on the news today saying that a annual game between the in state schools will definitly start in 2006, when the 12th game goes into effect. He said the only thing left to discuss was what games would be played where. He said WVU wants a 3 for 1 but that would not happen.

Thanks but the net is my job, so I post while I work. But again you could have put it under the other threads, instead of starting another meaningless 1.

WVUs play by play man was on the radio tonight in Morgantown and said he would be "very suprised" if WVU/MU came to agreement...it seems two vastly different things are coming out of Huntington and Morgantown....it will be intersting to see how this plays out

I do find it humorous that when someone won't take the time to read the board, or at least peruse through the topics listing, the first response is that they work and don't surf the net all day.

My answer would be that if you had time to listen to your story, and post your post, then you should be considerate enough to understand the ettiquette of message board posting, possibly check out the posting rules, possibly check out the FAQ, and then maybe take three seconds to browse the list of posts to see if there are already five other topics with the same theme.

I don't personally think so. He has always stated that he will encourage both sides to play, but I don't see him forcing it.

I wouldn't be so sure. This is the first step of the governor's plan to make both universities less dependent on the state.

Problem for WVU is that they are the ones asked to do the giving. I guess the NFL is all that sucks. Life does for mountie fans knowing they will be helping "lil brother" get his groove on.      :rolltide:

Save your rolling, laughing, and sodomizing smilies for after the games get signed. We aren't helping little brother do squat yet. 05-mafia

Still have a hard time undersanding how an institution that was established decades prior to another can be referred to as little brother to the younger institution.

How about, grossly underfunded older brother?

WVU fans have stated they would rather play Ohio State or Penn State as the 12 game. The only problem with this is OSU or PSU will demand at least a 2-1 with WVU. Its the same arguement WVU is using with us now, Stadium size. And the fact is OSU and PSU dwarfs WVUs stadium by 40K.

Thats funny Syracuse has home n home's with both PSU and OSU in the next 5 years with only a 50,000 stadium. I bet WVU could get the same.

Penn State not only did a 1 for 1 with Syracuse, but I think BC as well.

They don't seem as eager to play WVU or Pitt 1 for 1 though. Honestly don't know why.
