I hope WMU wins but we've heard a lot about this high-powered WMU offense but they don't look too good so far. Hopefully they start breaking out some big plays.

Which is great but they dropped another sure INT and at least 2 surefire catches that would've really put them in position to score.

Things would be going better if they had a strong wind at their backs.

For those who didn't see it, the WMU frosh FG kicker hit the crossbar from almost 50 yards out.

Nevertheless, a tough defensive struggle. NU by 1 at the half.

Defense good, offense bad. 50-yard FG attempts? Need to get a little closer, PJ.

RE: Week 1 In-Game Thread
Western is rowing the boat, the they're facing some strong purple White Caps out by Lake Michigan.

Good game. Going back and forth.

NU is poised to regain the lead.

(seriously, Western misses Braverman. He really helped move the offense).

It may not be the falcons, they are in big 3Q trouble and potential playoff teams have the beauty contest to worry about (although it appears Barrett has given way to one Joe Burrow)

That was awful. He was still in the air and that should have been a NW TD

Wow. Great game. Almost a bonehead play.

Now the MAC West is still perfect with a combined 5 - 0 record.
