Don't know why the fuss. He was CLEARLY just trying to publicly demonstrate how peaceful his 'religion" is. And hey, it's all okay beacase he used a KNIFE to try to murder, and not a gun, so there's no problem right (because everyone knows that it's the guns that get up and kill people, not the poor, innocent criminals who unwittingly and unknowingly accidentally use them.)

Or.....maybe we should have an Assault Knife Ban. Confiscate everyone's steak knife sets from their homes. Take all pocket-knifes away from children and fishermen. Ban all plastic knifes (and the evil, murderous plastic "sporks" too--better get to Wendy's quick before they kill another!) Arrest Martha Stewart and the Iron Chefs. Wofgang Puck and Bobby Flay and Emeril are criminals, after all...my goodness they could kill people with all those knives they use!


And what about people's hands, when they use them to choke people???! We must get all hands away from people and confiscate those too! Chop them all off (but not with knives, so better use a safe chainsaw (oh, wait- confiscate all chainsaws, too--to hell with firefighters, tree services and loggers)....and matches...people kill with those...and cigarette lighters...no, because how will the libbie crazies light their bongs and joints? We'll leave cigarette lighters alone as long as you are also carrying a felony-level amount of drugs. But if all you are doing is using lighters and matches to light candles...well...it's off to federal prison for you!
