Out for 2017. Tommy John. Tough break.

Should be interesting to see how the pitching rotation shakes out for 2017. McCarty seems to be a lock for Friday night. Powers, Roberts, Mikell could all be in the mix for the remaining spots. Hearing Alex Nelms (true freshman out of Gulfport) may be a contributor as well.

Absolutely. He's a great kid from an awesome family. He'll bounce back though.

Wow, second Tommy John surgery in 3 years!

Hate to be the guy that says this. But Tommy John surgery is a lot harder to come back from the 2nd time. First time the succes rate is about 90%. Second one is about 50%.
