Da'Ron Brown also got cut. Confident he will get kicked up on the practice squad though

Chargers also cut Semisch

Still waiting for Saints to release final cuts

10 cuts to go for TLL. A WR was one of their latest cut.

TLL has made the Saints the roster. What a great job by TLL.

What is the over/under before he is hurt? Three games?

Stingily is signed to the Steelers practice squad. Hopefully he gets activated soon but Steelers are deep at RB.

Da'Ron Brown didn't even get signed to the practice squad. Bummed about that, really thought he had some potential. Hope his NFL career isn't over

It's amazing how in this golden era how little NFL talent NIU produced. I find it funny yet sad at the same time.

I'm not that surprised. Generally, the NFL is a measurable a league (combine warriors with size). In the MAC we don't get those types of kids BC they all go P5. We've had our success from finding the players that were a few inches too short etc to make it big time with chips in their shoulders, i.e. Jordan Lynch, Chad Spann, Garrett Wolfe. Sure a couple of them will make it to the league but the odds are stacked against them on measurable a alone unfortunately.

Two first round draft picks.

Jury is still out on Jimmie Ward but you are going to argue Larry English? Really? Besides the hot piece of you know what he has now that guy is an embarrassment to the program.

I'm going to act like this isn't the craziest thing i've ever heard on this board. Yup that's what I'm going to, and trust me, i've heard plenty of crazy. You need to check yourself buddy.

Dog pound, I think he meant to say Sam Hurd was an embarrasment( no way could he have meant Larry English). How quickly people forget about Michael the Burner Turner. He had a really great career as well. FYI Jimmie Ward hasn't even hit his prime yet.

For sure Larry's NFL career was highly disappointing. Seems like that was at least partially due to injury. Who knows what he may have done if healthy. Calling it an embarrassment is over the top.

RE: Huskies in the pros
Updated. From the looks of it, Nathan Palmer and Tim Semisch were both cut and not signed to the practice squad, making them both free agents. Da'ron Brown was also cut by the Chiefs, however, I saw he has a tryout with the Patriots either yesterday or today, so I listed him as a practice squad player with NE. Jimmie Ward and Doug Free are both starting week 1, while TLL and Rashaan Melvin will both be in backup roles.
