North Texas has added Demonte Hood to its roster, a school spokesman confirmed Friday evening.

Hood began his career at Kansas State, but never made a significant impact. He finished with 13 tackles during his time with the Wildcats.

Hood has been at practice this week. I asked about him on several occasions and finally found out his identity today.

Hood is a big guy at 6-0, 310 and could provide some depth along UNT’s defensive line.
