Exactly Putin's plan. Try and set up the world into two camps. One that is willing to accept his 'strongman/corrupt leadership' to protect (well not really) from those pesky minorities.

Take advantage of our freedom of press (that doesn't exist in Russia) in order to try to game our freedoms for his benefit and to the detriment of our countries.

Freedom requires judgement. If you're taking Putin's word for it, you're being played for a patsy. Plenty of Conservatives rightly loathe and oppose Putin, but many are getting duped.

Here's another one; maybe you should respond to a poster you might not like by either ignoring his comments or rebutting them, rather than attacking him for commenting.

RT's credibility as a news source is fair game in a thread where the OP used it as a primary source. I don't think any rational person, right or left, would argue that it doesn't have a view, or that RT isn't run by a group that is supporting Donald Trump in this election.

Periodically, I watch RT just to see the 'propaganda line'. Or when news unfavorable to Russia is in the news to see how (or even if) they address it. Usually the RT website is filled with risible articles showing some nobody visiting Crimea and then they try to pretend that everyone outside Russia supports Russia's invasion there. They aren't credible. They posted stories opining that MH 17 took off from AMS filled with dead bodies on board.

If it were a real story, CNN would run with it. Can you even find a Fox news link to the story?

no matter how much I detest a news source like FNC. I would NEVER claim it is similar to FNC or even try to make the comparison. the cons on here sadly don't take that approach.
