I've contacted a couple board admins and we should have this board re-done with a couple bells and whistles added in the next week or so.

Hopefully we can get a bunch of EP posters and a few USM CUSA board posters over here once that happens.

Not sure if I'll be a mod, but if I am, I'll try to keep things pretty loose but not total anarchy like EP. I liked EP, but it basically became a good ol boys club of old geezers talking about mater sandwiches.

I'd like to have 3 forums on this board. The main board where we can talk USM, then maybe a politics forum and an off topic forum.

Anyways, those are just some ideas. Feel free to add your own.

Sounds great to me. I have been in EP for a while now, over 10 years or so and I use to post there frequently but have haven't really done so much in the last few years due to the constant sarcasm by a few. No matter what you post, there were are certain few that would downgrade anything you say. I truly believe that those in question were always wanting to see USM succeed but loved to always be negative. Hopefully this board will be more relaxed and the posters on here will be able to appreciate info, news, and any other related material about USM or anything in general that others post without all the sarcasm, profanity, and lack of respect. It's ok to disagree..that's always gonna happen, but do it respectfully because we all have the same goal, and that's to see Southern Miss succeed.

I've always liked this board and the format. I've come to it for several years, but just don't post much. I'll gladly make it my one stop place for USM talk. Looking forward to seeing how this place develops!

The more the merrier. And, some moderation (in, ahhh moderation...) is a good thing. EP could be a little dog eat dog at times.
