Things I learned driving cross country
Random things I learned about each state I drove through.

Ohio: can smell Cleveland when in Dayton, they spell Houston like this: Heuston

Indiana: smells like cow dun

Illinois: see Indiana

Iowa: has rest areas that resemble third world nations. One would need a tetanus shot if they dropped a deuce

Nebraska: should be renamed construction zone

Wyoming: mountainous desert that has more radio stations than actual residents

Utah: god's gift to man

Idaho: has more bugs than Florida... Try driving west bound on I84 during sunset...

Oregon: downright beautiful

Dude I'm so jealous. I've had a 6,000 mile road trip to the west coast on mapquest all laid out for at least 10 years. All I need is 18 days to see it happen. Still believing in the dream.
