Now with the switch to a 4-2-5 it will be interesting to see which two LBs start. There are two seniors, Ike Spearman 6'0, 230 who has been slow to get back to the level he was several years ago and Amos Houston 6'0, 220 who has lettered his 3 previous years.

There really is no junior class at this position. There is newcomer and late signee Sal Velasquez a 6'1, 225 JUCO transfer. His name has not been added to the roster yet.

The sophomore class includes rising player Jaylen Pickett 6'0, 222, D'Marcus Moon 6'1, 230, Tyler Onda 6'0, 230 and Kyle Rachwal 6'3, 230.

There's one redshirt freshmen Clay Holford 6'2, 250. It will be interesting to see how he fits in.

There are two "walk-ons" redshirt frosh from last year Chad Bata 6'1, 210 and Thad Abrams 6'4, 210.

The only true frosh is Tyler Lyle a 6'0, 210 walk on.

My bets are that Spearman and Rachwal will be the two starters. This area needs to be recruited hard for next year.
