As a Bernie supporter, I would've killed for an empty suit. As for whether it was better for the party to have Hillary win, my opinion is Hillary wins by 5 but Bernie would've won by 10.

I think Bernie was too far left and while he would have energized the kids that can't figure out how to make it without mommy and daddy's allowance, he would have scared off enough of the moderate democrats to give the election to the other side.

The moderate Dems are a shrinking demo. Anyway polls show Bernie was leading Trump by 10+ before they stopped polling it. Some will say that's because he wasn't under fire like she was but I'm not convinced there was enough dirt on him to bring him down.

His own personal history/past would have blown Bernie out of the water at some point once it came to light.

Again, if you want to know what a Socialist believes in, go look at his personal history. (Not trying to slander Sanders in saying so, as he's been very consistent in his socialistic beliefs, but it would have opened some serious eyes about his beliefs and what he wants).

David Brock and Hillary's campaign did all the digging they could, and threw everything at him hoping to see it stick. His "honeymoon in the Soviet Union." His fantasy rape novel from the 70s. It made the Washington Post, but never grew legs or really damaged him.

Seems like libs are perfectly OK with DWS, and many others in the DNC, unethical behavior. They just got caught.
