Love watching the money drain from the Cincy account. Multiple schools are offering no take from tv revenue and actually paying to join the Big 12. Not to mention your $10,000,000 exit fee

Nets left for Brooklyn 4 or 5 years ago. Maybe the Giants and Jeta since the stadium is in NJ?

UC will take a substantial amount less to join the B12 vs what incumbent B12 members are making. But we are not "paying" to join the conference and we are not taking zero tv revenue either. That's crazy talk. We will be on some sort of payment schedule that ramps up yearly until we reach 100% payout. No idea how many years it takes to get that point but it doesn't matter. The B12 name, teams like Texas and OU coming to Nippert etc. will more than pay for another expansion (plans are to take Nippert to ~50-55K), will help recruiting, and generally be a win for UC. Even if we only make AAC money for the first year or two, we still win.

There is the exit fee...yup. Well worth it.

As far as Texas/OU bolting in 2024...oh well. It gives UC six or seven years to do something with that B12 invite. Given how we made the most of the Big East situation, I like our chances.
